These notes name the work we did — not star ratings. Names of firms are withheld where clients asked for discretion.

“The ranked findings memo let us assign owners before our FSC meeting. Settlement reconciliation gaps were listed with sample IDs, which saved a week of back-and-forth.”

“Jonathan’s AML testing caught a SAR escalation path that stopped at a shared inbox. We still disagree on one sample judgment, but the rest of the report held up in our internal review.”
Priya Natarajan · MLRO, digital lending firm · AML control testing
“Fieldwork was calm. The only friction was our own document lag on day three — Sofia kept the schedule honest without drama.”
Kenji Sato · Operations manager, remittance corridor · Payment control review
“Investor diligence week was chaotic on our side. Cloud Connectivity’s weekly retainer meant someone answered data-room questions about control owners without reinventing answers each night.”

Licensing readiness for a remittance house

A Taipei remittance operator asked for a readiness audit eight weeks before a scheduled examination. We tested onboarding scripts, agent oversight files, and end-of-day settlement packs across three corridors.

Findings included incomplete agent training attestations and a reconciliation break between the nostro statement and the customer ledger for weekend batches. The firm remediated both before the examination and used our memo as the internal brief for the board risk committee.

Constraint we noted: sample selection took longer than planned because weekend batch archives lived on a separate drive. Future engagements now call that archive out in the document request list.

AML testing before a correspondent bank review

A wallet issuer faced a correspondent questionnaire with tight timelines. Our testing covered CDD refresh cycles, PEP screening evidence, and the handoff from alerts to case files.

We did not invent a score. We delivered a control matrix with pass, exception, or not tested, plus narrative for each exception. One mild reservation from the client: they wanted more coaching language in the memo; we kept it audit-styled and offered a separate remediation workshop instead.
